About lessons:

Nick offers private lessons on Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Vocals for beginners, intermediate, and advanced musicians. Lesson topics include; fundamental concepts (instrument technique, music theory, reading music etc.), repertoire development (learning songs & musical genres), and Music Technology (Logic Pro, MuseScore, Final Cut Pro).

Nick’s curriculum includes a large library of books including: The Berklee Method for Guitar (1,2,3), Berklee Melodic Rhythms for Guitar, Musicians Institute Music Reading for Guitar, Chord Chemistry by Ted Greene, For Guitar Players Only by Tommy Tedesco, Creative Guitar 1&2 by Guthrie Govan, Syncopation by Ted Reed, and many other print resources.

Nick emphasizes the importance of learning the whole fingerboard on Guitar and Bass by using a modulating system of scales and chords. On Drums, the core concepts taught are independence (ability to perform different rhythms with different limbs) and musicality (dynamics, playing styles, tasteful fills). Nick’s goal when teaching any instrument is to help students grow their passion for music while improving their skills.
