About

Biography

Nick Mardon is known by his fan’s and friends as “the hardest working musician in Seattle”.  Nick works at Seattle’s Premier Vintage Guitar Shop – Emerald City Guitars as well as performing hundreds of shows each year, teaching private lessons, and recording with various artists.  His love for music brought him from Seattle to Las Vegas, Memphis, & New York.  In his career, Nick has performed nearly a thousand live shows at venues including the Moore Theatre, Highway 99 Blues Club, Tulalip Casino, Everett Historic Theatre, and many others.

Nick performs with the Nick Mardon Trio, Mardinez (“Nick Mardon & Danny Godinez”), Washed In Black (“Pearl Jam Tribute”), as well as his solo shows.  Nick is a versatile musician with a background in Blues, Jazz, Rock, and Country and he has worked with Scott Clay, Audrey Collins, Aaron Crawford, and many other PNW artists.  Nick plays original music and iconic covers and interacts with his audience to create memorable shows.  Nick’s style is inspired by 60’s & 70’s classic rock, 90’s alternative, and blues-pop in the vein of John Mayer and Maroon 5.  Already a seasoned performer, Nick uses the guitar to speak to his audience as he plays a modern day mashup of Hendrix and SRV, playing his Fender Stratocaster behind his head and back.  He delivers soulful verses and sing-along choruses on his original songs and adds his own flavor to his favorite covers.
